TABLE TENNIS: Forum win two-a-side clash

FORUM A had an unusual win this week as they defeated St James A 4-1 in Division 1.

Greg Boone was suddenly ruled out with illness for Forum, but St James A could only field two players themselves, so victory came with the strange scoreline.

The main event was Karl Bushell beating Andy Misseldine 11-4, 7-11, 11-4, 11-9.

In Division 2, Rodney Browne scored a maximum for Haddenham A, but Forum C did well to hold on for a draw.

Witney B beat Bicester B 3-2 in Division 3, as they had same problem as Forum A.

Neville West did the business by winning both his matches, but Terry Morris lost both.

Crown thrashed Didcot B 10-0 in Division 1 of the Didcot & District League to close to within one point of top two Drayton A and Didcot A - and they still have a match in hand.
